Grumpy Groundhog by Maureen Wright

It’s Groundhog’s Day and the town is bustling with excitement as they await the arrival of Groundhog! There’s only one problem: Groundhog is refusing to leave his warm and cozy bed. Students will enjoy making predictions, synthesizing, and determining importance as they read about the shenanigans the mayor and children of the town must go through in an effort to coax Groundhog outside.
