Summary

Brave Irene by William Steig

Meet Brave Irene. She is a young girl who is determined to help her sick mother by delivering a beautiful gown to the Duchess during a terrible snowstorm. Irene pushes herself to find the strength and courage she needs to make it to the palace. Will Irene find her way through the wintry mix? Will the Duchess get her gown in time for the ball?
